Student Support and Progression
The college is constantly trying to provide every possible support and assistance to each student. Financial assistance in the form of government and non- government scholarship is provided to the economically weaker and meritorious students. Many students have been benefited from those scholarships. To encourage and support the student’s departmental award and scholarship is being provided to the best students every year.
The career guidance and counseling cell of the college has organized various career guidance programs, skill and personality development programs, awareness programs to enhance and boost the student personality in a better way.
The students are constantly being encouraged and provided with all required facilities and help by the institution to participate in various state and national level competitions. Immense efforts have been given to make the students involve in various co-curricular activities.
Yoga has been practice in college in regular basis with maximum student involvement. College observes international yoga day, world health day, world AIDs day, world environment day etc. to create and bring awareness among the students.
In response to the safety and security of the students the Anti-ragging cell, Grievance and Redressal cell, sexual harassment cell, women cell are fully functional in the college. The anti ragging cell has made a strict policy against the ragging in the college campus. Ragging is fully prohibited in the campus. Grievance redressal cell has been working to resolve the grievances of students. The women cell and sexual harassment cell are functioning in response to the safety and security of the girls.
The college has been taking holistic efforts to prepare the student for competitive examinations. Considering the outmost needs of the today’s student to compete and face the challenges of modern world the college has established a career guidance cell which takes initiatives to organize various events and workshops to guide and motivate the students in their career avenues and helps them to prepare themselves for various competitive examinations. They provides awareness to the students about the various types of government and corporate sector jobs, help them to choose their area of interest and takes initiatives to develop competitive skills among the students. As a outcome of this students are motivated to take up various competitive exams and many of them has successfully crack the exam.
