In pursuance of its Action Plan for performance evaluation, assessment and accreditation and quality up-gradation of institutions of higher education, NAAC proposes that every accredited institution should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure. IQAC of Namrup College was formed in 2004 and it is reconstituting on time to time as per the updated guidelines of NAAC. Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC of Namrup College become a part of the institution’s system and work towards realization of the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. In view of these objectives, it has played a vital role in strengthening the conducive co-educational environment for the better transformation of knowledge and day to day technological innovations. IQAC encourages conducting research, innovations and extensions works to teaching and non-teaching staff apart from their routine duties. In this way IQAC plays a catalytic role to develop a system for conscious, consistent and strategic improvement in the overall performance of institutions.
